Hi!
My sons tj has JUST started showing some lower oil pressure readings. It has been a little over 40 at highway speeds, but now has dropped to around 32 or so. (This is after driving for awhile...the oil pressures drops as the engine gets warmer...) He has about 100,000 miles on it. It is a 4 cylinder. Should I just try a new sending unit? thanks cal |

Re: 97 tj
Hi Cal,
Usually the sending unit begins to leak oil if it's bad. I wouldn't trust the factory gauge either. All Hot Rodders and people whom love their Jeep in install at least the aftermarket amp and oil gauges by Autometer or Stewart Warner: http://www.stewartwarner.com/ God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto:-------------------- http://www.----------.com/ Cal wrote: > > Hi! > > My sons tj has JUST started showing some lower oil pressure readings.
