93 jeep cherokee
 
is there a rebuild kit for a 231 transfer case (gears and chain)

Hi Larry,
I've never heard of the term rebuild kit in relation to gears, it's
been small parts kit, seal kit, gaskets, otherwise it's been the part we
need. I believe it's easier to go to your local transmission shop, and
give them your case numbers, and let them order the parts you need.

I've never heard of the term rebuild kit in relation to gears, it's
been small parts kit, seal kit, gaskets, otherwise it's been the part we
need. I believe it's easier to go to your local transmission shop, and
give them your case numbers, and let them order the parts you need.

thanks bill i thought it would be cheper to rebuild than get a new or used
one but its not going to look for one in junk yard still drives but 4wd
slips under load thanks again for the info
