'93 Cherokee Sport -brakes

Set the emergency brake yesterday - then when I released it and tried to go
forward it felt as if was still holding .. can go backward, but not forward
.. Is there an easy solution to this problem? Will I have to pull the rear
wheel and do some lubrication>? thanks.

...

Never.. NEVER.. put any lubrication on a brake system. Your gonna
kill yourself or someone else doing that!

...

Something inside the brake drum has siezed. This can happen if your in a
cold an humid environment. The pad will freeze to the drum.

Your going to have to check the cables and brake system to determine what
happened.

Let me repeat that first bit again.

Never apply lube of any type to a brake system, ever.
