91yj winch placement
 
bought the winch, now the only way I see to mount it on front is by bolt and
welding, any suggestions.

You need a proper mounting plate and anchors. Why risk killing yourself?

Hi David,
If you don't feel comfortable making a mount, for fear it may
explode and kill someone, then go to your manufacturer, like this Warn's
site and buy some cheap insurance:
