91 Wrangler BOSCH Relay
 

Just purchased a 91 Wrangler. Was looking under dash and found a
wiring harness with a BOSCH0 332 204 150 relay on one end and a 5 wire
flat conector on the other just lying there. the wire colors on the
flat female conector are pink, white red black yellow and purple. Now
the ? What and where does this go??? Any ideas?

Do you have the 258 or the 4.0?

I only have the CJ 258 wiring schematic but can guess.

My first guess is it's an idle relay that tags the emissions solenoids.
That is the only relay with a pink wire in a CJ's 258.

There also could be a fog light relay kicking around under there, but no
pink wires going to that.

My guess is that there was once an alarm system that has been taken out.

Hi Lee,
What doesn't work when you unplug it? The blower speed resistor for
one is hanging down there: http://www.----------.com/resistor.htm

It was not pluged into anything. I was wondering what it may have
been there for?? Not able to start motor transmission in shop. I
guess I will wait until I get the transmission back to see if
everything is ok.
