90 jeep 4.0 Cherokee-no spark?

90 jeep 4.0 Cherokee-no spark

No spark fro the coil wire
No spark after replacing the coil and the ignition control module
Could it be the sync signal generator or
is it the electronic control module?

Thanks for any help

Re: 90 jeep 4.0 Cherokee-no spark?

'Crankshaft position sensor', not 'crank case position sensor'.

And the other 1 percent, the ground strap from the rear of the engine to
the firewall is rotted. I use a booster cable from the battery neg to
the firewall to check that.
