Re: '87 Cherokee Laredo
She just didn't want to bother with it. She had her boyfriend fix it the
fastest and cheapest way possible. I did talk to him and he said it could go back to 4wd if I want to put the time into it. My brother in law also looked at it and said it could go back. I just need to know what parts to get it there and likely I'll be doing it myself. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to vehicles. Just a partial idiot. :) Kidd L.W.(ßill) ------ III wrote: > I would guess if the previous owner didn't think it was worth > making the four wheel drive repairs, than more than likely the wreck > punched out the front axle and transfer, probably replacing the front > end with their dummy tube. Re: '87 Cherokee Laredo
So what parts did your brother-in-law tell you it needed? Like, how
are we supposed to guess weather you have a front driveshaft or not? Re: '87 Cherokee Laredo
He didn't tell me anything except that it can be fixed "And go back to
4wd with the right parts and time". That was it. I would assume since the front was the part that was damaged and "fixed" to no longer make it a 4wd, you would be able to come up with *something*. What part do you remove from the front to turn it from 4wd into 2? That would obviously be the part that's missing. K.
