74 DJ5 Engine
I have a 1974 Jeep DJ5 which I'm restoring. The engine has no markings.
How can I tell if it is a 232 or 258 CID? Thanks |

Re: 74 DJ5 Engine
The engine codes are on a flat area below #2 cylinder on the side of the
block. I used to have a site that listed them, but it is gone now. If it is stock, the VIN will tell you. This site might help decode it, maybe someone else has a better one: http://www.specialtyparts.com/jeep/v...yr80allvin.php Mike 86/00 CJ7 Laredo, 33x9.5 BFG Muds, 'glass nose to tail in '00 88 Cherokee 235 BFG AT's Don wrote: > > I have a 1974 Jeep DJ5 which I'm restoring.
