53 Willys needs 4.27 Ring and pinion
I have purchased a 1953 Willys. I has stock 5.38 rin and pinion and
goes about 55 mph max. I've been looking for a set of 4.27 ring and pinion out of a Dana 25 diff but have been unable to locate them. Anyone here have a set they'd be willing to sell or know anyone whit a set that would be willing to sell? |

Unfortunate, as popular as the 4.27 was in Jeep, Summit doesn't sell it
for Dana 44: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch You may try Border Jeep in San Diego, he's been buying up all the surplus and has connection with the Philippines, since we were in school together over forty years ago. No web URL so you'll have to use the phone number I put up on a map to his place: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...lley,+CA+91977 Also you may consider an overdrive, like Warn originally made: http://www.----------.com/Dana18.jpg Sold by: http://www.advanceadapters.com/acrobat/saturn.pdf now. That way you may keep the gears most Real Jeepers would kill for.
