2003 Soft Top on a 2004 Wrangler?

Hey -

I've got a new 2004 Wrangler I bought a few months back. I got it
with the hard top, which I'm definitely pleased with, living in what
has turned out to be a very snowy, frigid Northeast winter. However,
this spring I'm going to want to be able to put the top down, so I
need to get a soft top.

I've looked around at several sites, including Quadratec, Jeeps Are
Us, and Mopar, and nobody seems to have anything for the 2004s yet.

Does anyone know if a 2003 soft top will fit a 2004 model Wrangler?
Barring that, does anyone know about what time current-year parts
become available for Jeeps? I'd rather not wait until June or July
before I can switch tops.

Thanks!

Matt

I think they are the same but if you go to the Mopar site all the parts they
list under accessories are for current year models

Re: 2003 Soft Top on a 2004 Wrangler?

Matt - I want to say if you order the whole top as a unit you
would be OK just don't mix & match. Best to call whatever
company you decide to go with & talk to the customer service
to make sure their tops are good for your year.

As far as I know, they are unchanged for '04. I'd call/email Bestop
directly for a confirmation. They are great about answering such
questions. Also, I'd HIGHLY recommend the Sailcloth soft top! You might
never put your HT on again.
