2000 Jeep Wrangler/VIP Summary Report Questions
I am interested in a particular 2000 Jeep Wrangler. I have a 3 page
document that is named the VIP Summary Report that shows information about this Jeep. Page 3 of the report includes the Standard Equipment and the Optional Equipment for this vehicle. I see code DRKP - Axle Rear, Heavy Duty Dana 44/226MM and code DMEP - Axle Ratio 3.73. I do not see anything that might indicate that it has anything other that an open rear differential. My questions are 1) what codes would indicate a non-open rear differential, 2) what were the non-open differential options available for a 2000 Wrangler and 3) is there a source that explains in detail what each code indicates (because some of the code descriptions are extremely vague)? |
