What is the normal cooling temperature for the 4.0 eng? My temp gauge
reads a little above 210 degrees. Is this ok and normal. Thank-you. 1999 jeep cherokee sport. |
Re: 1999 jeep cherokee sport
That would appear to be the normal running range for the 4.0 engine. My
4.2 runs a little hotter than my 4.0 even. Mike 86/00 CJ7 Laredo, 33x9.5 BFG Muds, 'glass nose to tail in '00 88 Cherokee 235 BFG AT's Canadian Off Road Trips Photos: Non members can still view! I'm guessing your about 100+ ambient temp. It will get hotter if your idling in traffic for a while. About the only cure for that is a three core radiator. > PAUL KRAUSE wrote: >> >> What is the normal cooling temperature for the 4.0 eng? My temp gauge >> reads a little above 210 degrees.
