1947 Fire Engine Willys Jeep
Found this at our local airport (Springfield, Missouri) today:

It is the only original Airport equipment still in inventory dating from Airport development in 1945. This 1947 Willeys (sic) Jeep is original in all areas - body, engine and transmission. It was set up with a 100-gallon tank filled with water and foam premix, which was delivered through a 1 1/2-inch hand line with a brass nozzle. The gas-powered engine located on the front bumper drove the pump. This vehicle was in active service until the mid 1960's." PLM -- [ ] __OIIIIO__ |||=oo=||| ||| ||| |
