'04 Jeep GC--I want to install a Remote Start/Keyless Entry system but.........
 

I want to install a RS/KE system but I was told a while back that my
power locks are set up such that I'll need an additional module of
some type to tie into the computer to control the locks.

I can't remember what it's called and don't know where to find it.

Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure you just need a second module. Same as the other one.

if you have the skim key system then a 555u will be needed to bypass the
skim system and that includes needing a new coded key at 50.00 +
the keyless can be done using resistors and relays but takes a while to
make the circuit so they use what's called a 465t and tie into the pci
bus system and that communicates with the computer i have done a ton of
them

if you have the skim key system then a 555u will be needed to bypass the
skim system and that includes needing a new coded key at 50.00 +
