Sweet!

Seen the wire clamps before. Never liked them and the regular
clamps are easier to work with.

Dunno what that burned hose is taking vacuum to.

Also looks like the previous owner took off the electric
choke. Not a big deal but might make starting on cold days
a bit hard.

Congratulations!
Before you take it off road, make sure the motor mounts are new and
that the front axle bump stops are in place, otherwise the differential
housing will hit the oil pump ending your off road fun, and the life of
that engine. Is it still the 304" the number will be cased near the
mounts? Here's hoping you have the 401".
Most of us use the Warn free wheel hub, because it handles so much
better on the highway, and carry a spare stock hub as your V8 will
