First off it makes some previously 'unknown' areas now public for all to come and destroy. (Have seen this recently, not all cachers 'tread lightly', few do and they have left so much garbage near the hiding spots that kids out camping are following the garbage trail and are finding the caches) Second some of these caches are, well, 'waaayyyy' back into the deep bush in areas with no cell coverage and the nearest house is over 25 miles away. If one of these fools have a breakdown way back in there or an accident, they are in 'big' trouble. The caches are also way back into hunt camp territory where 'we' as Jeepers have been run out of and threatened on more than one occasion by armed camps. These armed drunks get totally incensed at the though of 'their' hunt camp and it's privately maintained but public all the same trail being 'public' on the internet. Unfortunately they have reason to be pissed! Their camps 'are' getting vandalized. <off soapbox> Mike 86/00 CJ7 Laredo, 33x9.5 BFG Muds, 'glass nose to tail in '00 88 Cherokee 235 BFG AT's Canadian Off Road Trips Photos: Non members can still view!
