Replacing my CRD .. . . but with what ..

Hello,
I've been merrily driving a Liberty CRD 06 with absolutely no complaints, OK milage, never had any problems 163,000 kms .. . . until last wednesday two little old ladies lost control of their Toyota Corolla and hit me head on and wrote off both cars [nobody hurt and their insurance picks up the tab] .. . . My insurance policy covers me to the value of a new vehicle!! must be Christmas!! . . .. I live way off the beaten track and will be replacing my CRD with something similar . . .. hopefully another Jeep. My dilemma is the diesel thing, I need better milage than a regular Liberty if possible. The fella in the local Jeep showroom mentioned the new V-6 Pentastar gas engine . . . is it available? would be my first question .. ... .. second question would be any decent alternatives to the Liberty? It seems the Xterra/FJ/landrovers are too pricey as I would like this exercise to be revenue neutral if possible . .. any suggestions, comments or ideas would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

I would seriously consider now is the time to get what vehicle suits you the best. Now is the time to do it.
You could finance part of the next purchase and have a superior vehicle.
If you are after mileage, do your homework. The escape is one of them. Just depends on your needs.
None of the Liberties currently have Pentastar. Only GC does. It will come before fall though.
I am hoping to see the Gladiator, new pick up truck coming from Jeep 2012.
