Salt Corrosion, Were the lines previously sprayed with undercoating? I have to put my 04 back in soon for a re coating. Last winter with 6.5 feet of snow and 3 months of salty roads, my undercoating is in need of a re-do again. Salt eats through everything and it is hardly practical to wash when the temp outside is -20...the loosing battle.
After the new lines are in, consider getting a can of that rubberized undercoating spray and get them protected....
