Liberty Diesel

Does any one own one? I was looking at one.....not sure about it versus the GC with the 4 liter High output. Do you get better milage with the diesel versus gas?

Re: Liberty Diesel

CRD does get better mileage. Two other forums you could check for CRD info is LOST and this site: for more diesel info.
Here is a posting with mileage recently posted.

Re: Liberty Diesel

You get better mileage from them IF you get all of the upgrades done... Green Diesel Engineering, Sasquatch Motorsports, Samco hoses, and my new design CRD engine thermostat.

It is a bad time to purchase a diesel anything, unless you are brewing your own fuel. Diesel fuel, at least in Alberta, is about 40 cents per litre more than it should be, due to the fact that there is a severe lack of refining capacity. The oil companies don't want to build more refineries, because they can restrict the market with the lack of refining capacity, and then gouge the consumer.
