Help! Jeep liberty 2006 does not shift from park
Please help me! Before I fix the floor everything was ok. Then I put back the carpet and the sits and now the Jeep does not shift from park. All wires are ok... cable is ok... I don't know what to do...

Re: Help! Jeep liberty 2006 does not shift from park
My guess is whatever you did to the floor its now hitting the shifter and preventing it from moving to where it should. Have someone inside the cab
easily try to shift and you (after blocking the wheels) check underneath and see if you don't see some blockage. You might have the problem I
had after we replaced my floor...the gas pedal was okay just that I didnt have room to put my foot squarely on the pedal..so with a BIG hammer
we fixed the floor... not saying you do that but you may have to adjust the floor or shift arm. Let us know how yu make out
