Can Limited be a Renegade?
 

2004 Liberty,, two questions for the gurus here, can a Liberty Limited also have the Renegade package? Mine does say limited on the rear and does have the light bar from the factory and the strange roof rack. In fact the other question is, how does this roof rack differ from the standard? I notice that there are two half moons on one end of the rack, possibly to strap something down? Any answers to these mysteries would be greatly appreciated.

There are numerous packages lets look at it that way. The Renegade was a limited with different options and body effects,depending on year. Some Renegade did not come from factory with light package,some were dealer installed.
Got any pictures of your limited? Flat hood or?

Kinda like asking if The Burt could be Chuck Norris. A Renegade has a little something extra, some call it character, others call it soul. The Limited is cool but the Renegade is in a class all it's own.

I might be a little biased, my KJ has the flat hood and the aforementioned soul.

Alright, kidding aside, I don't see why a Limited couldn't be a Renegade if you got yourself a flat hood, new grill, new rad support, fender flares, Hellas for the bumper, the "looks beefier but not much different" roof rails and the "crush like pop cans" rock rails too. Bolt all that stuff on and then get yourself the badges. Voila, Renegade.
