Default 2003 Liberty Windshield Wipers

I have always had problems with windshield wipers for my 2003 Liberty Sport. New or old doesn't matter. They squeak, don't clear well and jump on my windshield. Does anyone have a recommendation as to a really good brand??

Try a rain-x application on your windshield. You will not need to use your wipers as much and it will help to reduce the friction on the wiper blades.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Do you use a certain blade manufacturer as well?

I don't know what u have right now but may be next time u out looking for wipers switch to the ones that wrap around the windshield (flexible) they seem to work a little better than the conventional ones.

Glass is porous and I have used rain-x treatment on another car that created the the chattering noise.Once applied, it is almost impossible to remove it.
TO remove grime and get back to a clean glass surface use cerium-oxide, available at speedy auto glass,
Wet glass with a soapy mixture, Apply or a warm paper towel with the glass polish oxide, and rub in a circular motion on the entire windshield. Rinse with soap and water to remove the brown polish.
Another quick treatment is using "Fantastic" regular spray cleaner, you will be surprise how well that fantastic removes grease and quietens down the chatter..ask me how I know....
Keep your wipe blades clean by weekly using a paper towel with fantastic/alcohol.
I use these winter wiper blades and am quite happy with them.

Morning all,
Sorry Liberty TC, glass is NOT porous! It IS under certain specific conditions to certain materials but none you will ever experience. Read my profile to see why I KNOW this. The rest of your post I agree with although I would be careful with the cerium oxide. NOT necessary IMHO unless glass is badly scratched/pitted etc. in which case, better to have the "pro's" do the job.

True that dude. I think they call them "frameless". I use the Rain-X Horizon ones from Canadian Tire or WalMart. About $25 each. Wipe great. Can't find the Bosch Evolution (?) wipers here but have heard great things about them.
