well things have not changed much ,i have a roof leak and looking at the tops they don't seem to be aligned perfectly and removing them and re-installing seems to put them right back how they were.So I have a small bucket right in front of the radio to collect the water.
I do have an appointment with the chrysler leak guy to have a look.
Also my speedometer is out by 7-9km,possibly my tire size, can chrysler adjust that
Other that that its running good

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

Yes they should be able to adjust the speedo.
Have you changed the tires since you bought it?
If yes it will be on your dime.
If it came new with the tires they should have set it for you.
Consider buying a unit so you can make your own adjustments if you plan on future modifications.
I have seen leaks along the door frame but center of the windshield is not usual that I know of.

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

I don't think they will adjust the speedometer..
I did not like the tires on the 2015 so i asked to keep my tires from the 2010
thats why the speedometer is out.
What is the unit worth to make these changes
The tops don't seem to match up to good ,but we'll see what they say

Looks like $160 here:
Just Jeeps :: Performance - Programmers :: AEV ProCal Module...
As yours is an auto it will also get your shift points back in line.

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

That procal is very easy to use. I'd highly recommend it. You can tweak quite a few things, annoying false tpms lights etc
I really don't think the front panel alignment is the cause of your leak. Mine are off a bit too, but no leaks.

woodman 09-29-2014 07:23 PM

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

You don't think its the front joint between the 2 panels,I sort of agree as the seal is about 1 in wide and even if the panels were out 1/8 it should not matter.
Water drips from the small hole on the left side driver panel
I have an appointment tues with there leak guy and he's ok,he fixed my 2101

zrs 09-29-2014 08:48 PM

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

He probably knows the weak points. My panels are closer together at the front than they are at the back. One is also slightly ahead of the other, but no leaks. (I'm surprised)

I suspect he must be great if they invested the money in him for time travel.

As soon as the contractor(leak guy) spoke to me about the roof leak ,he nodded and said he needs to beef up the front seal(over the windsheild) and then check the side seals and lubricate them as it has sat with the roof never touched since the jeep was built.
He knew all about the roof leak and saw where is was coming in ,small hole in the drivers side(like a gromlet hole)
Thats the good part,my speedometer is out by 7km becasuse i kept my 2010 tires and they would not re-program the jeep unless i paid,i said no .
I will soemday go back to the seller dealership and they will do it .
This also was the dealership that would not do the paint protect because i purchased the jeep in mississauga ont,not from them

I am a little confused. Is your 2010 RIMS and Tires in the pic?

no just put a random picture in sorry about that , placed the proper one this time

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

Those rims and tires look like stock size for a upgraded sport. There should be no discrepancy in the speedo with those.....unless the picture is making it seem smaller than it really is.

have you tried putting your original rims and tires that came with your jeep and see if it's still off?

sorry the treads got all confused I did not realize we started a new page
When i purchased the 2015 because i needed a automatic transmission(so my wife can drive) I did not like the stock tires and it was becoming difficult to get the tires i already had,so i had them remove my 2010 tires and place them on the 2015 which were a lot smaller.
But they should have ajusted the speedometer, but no dealer will do it except where i bought it,its going to be awhile as they are 3.2 hrs from me.
But at least th e leak is fixed
The picture is how it looked in the dealership with the original tires
i also tinted the windows

You didn't like the tires? Or rims? This "tread" is confusing. Who is your dealer? I hope you didn't use "Team Chrysler group".

2010 sport tires aren't bigger than the 2015.

Actually, they are. The stock tires on the steel wheels shown in the pic at the dealer (2015) are 29". His sport tires are 32", that's why he wanted to keep them. (And why it threw the speedo off)

woodman 10-15-2014 09:59 PM

Re: wrangler sport 2015 443km

the stock 2015 looked squatted in the parking lot and I liked my 2010 tire size, rims
and for me to get this type of tire it was going to cost.
So I said ok I will keep my tires and rims (w/20000 km) and they agreed and I am happier with the look ,the 2015 on the lot with squatted tires and steel rims I did not like ,when you get a second jeep you don't want to go backwards and get less than you had before .
I was very happy with the 2010,i needed an automatic transmission so to get rid of the 2010 I was trying to keep my costs down.
Don't get me wrong ,I can put up with the speedometer 7km out, dealer in Mississauga
will do it from nothing but no other dealer will even if I bring them the maintenance business. I was surprised .Its too far for me to run back to Toronto for an oil change unless I happen to be there on business

Mine came with 32" tires originally.
Yes it was a factory option but original equipment just the same.
