Soft Top Straps and Back "window"

Hi all,

Just wondering if any one knows how to fix the following.

1. The straps on my soft top have both come off at one end. The little silver "plugs" are still in the bar but the fabric holes of the strap have slipped over the plugs. I slipping them back over and punding the edges of the plugs over the stap but it doesn't hold. Any ideas? Can you get new plugs? What's the solution here?

2. The zipper on my back "window" on my soft top has two pulls and no stop. Is this normal? I can't get this zipper to work properly. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

1. You might try a 4by4 store, or do as I do since when I bot the jeep they were missing so I took some cheap ctc web strap and cut it in half (burned the ends-so they won't frill) and slid it between the bar and tarp and tie it in a loose knot when I have the window rolled up
2.Take a candle and run it over the zipper will help it slide better and sorry really never noticed if there were stops or not as I never have pulled it down that far

CTC also has double side velcro straps.. The type that sticks to itself for wraping hose or wire etc.. That factory elastic strap will stretch after a while..

Im not sure you want to use those straps anyway. I am going to assume you want to roll your window up and use the straps to secure it. I know that is what they are there for and I have done it all of three times and let me say this. My window is scratched to all H E C K !!! I don't use those anymore. If I want my window out I take it out..
