What type of rustproofing product did you use? I've used the rubberized stuff Canadian Tire sells but i find it peels off with time.I also used old motor oil and sprayed it on my 2003 TJ but it can get quite messy and i have to wait until spring to see if the effort was worth it

Warning, Used motor oil can contain solvents and gas which could attack the seals and rubber components of your vehicle.:eyes:

First year can be important, you going to put it away for the winter and avoid all the fun in the snow? Krown will cost around $125.00. just had mine done for the 3rd yr since new. 2010 Wrang/Unl White/Blk. No Rust!

Re: Rust proof treatment

I was told by my Krown rep. that they intentionately do not do the frame due to the fact that their product reacts with the rubber seals around the wind-shield. This was true with my 03 TJ which was taken to Rust check and eventually I had to do do some metal work/body work to fix up my frame which is not covered under either warranty.

I used amber no drip rustproofing by dominion sure seal. It creeps really well, and doesn't harden like the rubberized stuff from CT.
