Recall on Wrangler Breaks

Armed with recent news on the recall annoucent eariler this week, I took a look at my JK.
The news says the some front inner fender shrouds may rub on brake lines causing loss of brake fluid.

Driver side looks good, however the passanger side is rubbing. Looking at the front passanger tire face on, the issue is to the left of the shock towerm just above the fitting that supports the brake line to the frame.

I say the dealer will take all of 5 minutes and a dremmel tool and trim the plastic shroud to clear the break line.....as long as the chaffing hasn't gone too far.

I can see how this could become an issue if not addressed.

Yea, I just got my recall notice, I don't know what the time delay will be for you guys, but the brake line interference is very easy to correct, so if you're a long way from the dealer , just take a dremmel/ tinsnip/ heat gun and provide at least 1" clearance between the liner edge and the lines

I've done all 4 of mine, just for security, the front is easy and the back will take a little more work

Good luck
