Default Mechanic in Montreal

Happy i found you guys. Can't say i'm too impressed with my local Jeep dealer. Had my JK 2010 in for the airbag recall and they called and tried to sell me injector cleaning on a low mileage JK and was running like a Puma.

I have the famous Oil cooler transmission line leak. Its leaking from the rubber part of the hose into the metal part that attaches to the metal line. Mine is a 2010 with low mileage (39,000 miles)

The leaking has been getting worse over the last few weeks.

I have the "new parts" and need a mechanic that knows and loves jeeps as much as the members of JeepCanada to do the repair.

Thanks in advance
Howard

The dealers don't make money from recalls so they try to cover the cost by screwing you for something you don't need, not illegal but definately not ethical either, The hose will need someone with a lift and proper tools, not necesarily a jeep enthusiast but someone who cares about their work. that being said, what area of montreal are you north south east or west.

I'm on the south shore and there are a couple of places I often recommend to people one in Longueuil and the other in Chategeuy, I will try to find mr white, as he has dealt with a transmission shop that is closer to you. One of the problems you face at this time is all the lifts are booked for changing to winter tyres.

Thanks again for helping out. I bought the trans oil line since i get a discount because i have a Car/jeep detailing garage in CDN. I'm anxiously waiting for Mr. White or if that doesnt work out i would take you up on your contacts. Its leaking but not that heavy so i'm probably able to drive it , my plan b is too use CAA and have it flat bedded over. Anyways have a stellar day. Howard
