Default Question

HI All

I traded in m y 2011 unlimited Sahara 6 speed on an very low millage 2014 automatic yesterday.. Been many years since I've driven automatic My question is on the use of the

+- below drive.... what is the right way to use that? is it more for towing or more like downshifting a six speed?

Still going through CD but thought i would ask

It's for manually shifting the transmission but it will only allow you to shift within certain parameters. I never really found much use for it.

It's very easy to bump the transmission into a lower gear.
If you hear the transmission over revving push the shifter to the right & hold there until it climbs up from the lower gear to Drive.

Thanks guys, Headed to the lake this weekend and had some windshield time to "play" kinda cool feature,I used it highway while climbing steeper hill .. quick little downshift to get some get up and go!
Really happy with highway drive and the Pentastar. I see a significant difference from the 2011.

Washed the mud off and lit the bbq.... Time to chill!
