Good call with the cardboard template. I think the hardest part was finding a wheel in the exact size I wanted with the bs I wanted, in black. The RR are the same as the 7031's at 4.75" bs I believe. Do you have any pics? They were my 2nd choice.

I have also heard that talking to a guy who works at a shop. A 2 door with a soft top from factory will gain the most from the 4 door rubi springs. But if you can get a set for a good price it wouldn't hurt to toss it on your JKUS.

I almost had a free set which would have been worth it.

Thanks for the compliment, Jeepminded. The Gecko is one bright colour that needs toning down, especially with the green top. I would have preferred a black hardtop, but that's another story.
I don't have a tow package on the jeep. It has 17/58 springs from the factory. I found the 10A suspension on kijiji, with only 300kms on it. I got all 4 springs and shocks. The 10A's had steel bumpers, very little rake, and a slight lift, even with the added weight. I'd be happy to level the jeep, with no more than a 1" lift. A buddy of mine put the same # springs in his and got just under 2", but he has a soft top with half doors. I'm regearing mine next month (going to 4.10s from 3.21s), adding Truetracs front and back, and will be doing the suspension around the same time.

The other day we were down at National (4wp) in Chateauguay and there was a jk there with mickey Thompson 35x12.5r17 they stuck out a little - maybe a little more than one would like to have for running though some of these towns around with the got nothing better to do fuzz. There is something new where u don't have to remove ur fenders for larger width. It looks allot like the plastic that u buy at Cdn Tire to go around the garden, but these are fitted to the size and attach to ur existing fenders. They are flexible, good looking and not expensive.

Like ride qualilty color is subjective, and I dig the bright colors...my 08 is Rescue Green, not as bright, but unique for sure. (No disrespect to not so bright colors...just my preference) Yes, I hear what you are saying on the body color hard top...again, preference, and mineis black

I have the factor 16 / 58 from the factory and a 2"/1" TF level kit...love it...smack dab level. However, I think I will need to upgrade if/when I hang heavy bumpers on it. Great info you provided on the 10A springs, makes sense...up to now I've only known the 19/59 to be the stiffest. You got a wicked deal on them....goes to show you there are decent folks out there. I have to agree with you a leveled Jeep and a inch or so lift is well in perportion with 33 X 11.5 X17 IMHO.

Good luck with the regear!
