Mileage question

My 4 dr. JK is 9 mnths old. It is stock. I was wondering what kind of mileage you fellas are getting in the city commuting. When new, mine was around 16-18 Ltrs./100 km. Now it is around 28 L./100. It is under warrant and I was considering getting the dealer to check and maybe re-calibrate it and check the timing but wanted to check what others where getting.
Thanks for any input and I apoligize if this question has been asked before.

Re: Mileage question

08 JKU, auto, 3:73's, and stock. This past summer on the highway with the softtop on, and AC, 4 people and camping gear I leveled out at 9L/100, cruzing at 100Km/hr. The skinny pedle/driving style is key to better milage. Running errands in town I usually see 15 to maybe 19 ish L/100. Only time I have seen high 20's is when I'm stuck in the drive through line up at Timmies....then I seen the numbers you are.

You may want to calc your fuel milage by hand to compare to the electronic dash display. I assume you reset the dash calc when prior to checking the milage, and allow it to level out for a few KMs.

If your hand calc is better then the dash.....hello warranty.

Good luck
