The tips hangin' down was never really an issue as she's 80% a daily driver and Walmart curbs are no real threat. Beachin' is my main off roading and as you can see their high enough to avoid getting in any sand. Rocks are very few and far between in the area of southwestern Ontario I live in, most are landscaping in the neighbours' yards and they REALLY REALLY frown on me rock crawlin' over them!
lol

Sand sounds like fun, but wouldn't that wear down your tires more then usual?

I was planning to goto a few trails out east, I joined OF4WD and found a few good trails I'd like to run around on nothing to crazy, pretty simple stuff but I really wanted to get my CB Installed before i go out and do that, but I need the parts and find out how to get it all up and running. Just haven't had the time to get all the parts together. All i got is the CB head unit and Mic.

i would think it would depend on what sort of tread you're running, but i would agree with you when hitting the beach with an A/T tire as the sipes will likely get packed full of sand causing a loss of performance on the road and premature wear of the tire...

Would really suck to wear down my tires as it's close to 2 grand to replace them. I am running the stock wrangler tires, but I think i'll be sticking to dirt and rocks myself.

yeah, i hear that!... lol

i give my tires a quick visual inspection every month to make sure everything is ok, no new damage, pick out the little pebbles from the treads, check the pressures, etc. might not actually do much for the tires, but it does give me peace of mind...

i run the stock aluminum rims on my WJ and they tend to lose a little air over the month... typically anywhere from 4-7 psi/month. hopefully this won't be as bad once i get my new tires on...

just picked up my gibson exhaust last weekend off kijiji for 50 bucks surprisingly. The guy purchased it in hopes it would fit his truck and didn't so he sold it to another gentleman who wanted to do the same but also could not. Seems the guy didnt research how much they were worth. Only way I could tell what kind it was, was from the photos. Amazing sound and very tough exhausts. Makes the jeep sound much more aggressive!! Thanks for the info. May go for a magnaflow next on my mothers truck.

I like the gibson exhausts aswell there pretty cool, but the cheapest exhaust i could find is a generic magnaflow. I want a nice sound but i don't want to drop to much money on it incase i crush it.

A Gibson for $50! Man that is a real score, looked at Gibson's Metal Musha system first, because I wanted black tips, but the system was way overkill!!
