light Covers
I was just wondering if anyone knows why the lights on the jk have covers over them, notice light are dim and going to try to take caps off

Re: light Covers
Can you clarify what you mean by covers? Are you referring to the reflector that is on the inside of the head light enclosure? If so you do not want to remove that.
Just replace the bulb with a silverstar or something brighter and call it a day. |
Re: light Covers
I was actually going to ask about this. I find the lights quite dim in my 2011 JKU, any bulb suggestions out there?

Re: light Covers
HID's would be your best route.
Had them on my last car and it was great, but won't be upgrading to HIDs with the Jeep. I think I am the only that thinks the light output is fine. |

http://www.quadratec.com/products/97000_107.htm The problem then is the fogs. If you replace the headlight bulbs they are whiter than the fogs so now the fogs will look on the warm side (yellowish). Unfortunately due to the wattage of the fog lights you are pretty much stuck with getting an LED upgrade such as http://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-White-68...-/170693551455 |
