Lifted 4 door sahara

Hi all,
I just got a 4 inch rough country suspension lift in my 2011 sahara 4 door. I also has a set of 33 inch cooper discoverer mud tires installed with cepek rims. It looks amazing, but rides like crap now. If anything I thought it would improve the ride somewhat. I assumed there would be some slight road wander with the bigger tires as well as worse gas mileage, but I was wondering if there are any adjustments that can be made. I'm almost ready to have it removed.

Re: Lifted 4 door sahara

4 inch lift really isn't necessary with only 33" tires. I ran 35s with a 2.5" lift for 2 years. Now I have3.5" front 2.5" rear to level it and I still run the stock shocks with extensions. My son runs 33x12.50 on his 2dr JK without any lift at all.
My ride is better then stock. Evidently the springs and shocks in your lift are not conducive to a good ride, which is compounded by a very stiff tire. So you may have to look at a different set up or go back to stock with a spring spacer.
The only adjustment you can make is to reduce your tire pressure. With bigger 33s you should be around 32psi. A chalk test of you tires will help you dial in the correct tire pressure for those tires on your vehicle as you cannot go by the factory recommended pressures.

Ok, I'll try lowering the pressure. I still have the stock suspension parts, I may have to look at a reinstall. Thanks for the reply.
