Lifetime warranty On body?

Is the life time warranty on the Body worth the 700$?

I just look at most older Jeeps and i see alot on Cancer.

If you plan on keeping your Jeep for 10 years and to give it an oil based anti rust treatment around 80-100$ every year, I guess it's a good option. The paraffin anti rust method is expensive but there is no leak and will actually be a good protection. A good thing though is to ask your dealer to make some touch ups every once in a while because if you leave it like that and play in the mud then wash it with water pressure all the time, you'll loose some of the protection. The dealer should be making these touch ups no fee once a year but make sure they can do that without charging you because if not, they will be scamming you.

Thanks for the reply.
I have a habbit of keeping all my cars a long time, So i cant see a Jeep being any different.

I like the idea of Someone else paying for Bodywork for once, If needed.

Re: Lifetime warranty On body?

I had them do it at the dealer when I bought it. Its VERY good stuff but do note that there is a limit. If somthing rusts they will fix it but once you reach I think it was $1500.00 in repairs thats it.

I do like having it rust proofed but you do have to do that every year. I buy the small cans from Crown and get under my jeep and spray stuff here and there to keep it from rusting.

YES read the fine print.. you don't want to be told when it starts to rust that "We cover interior rust and not exterior rust" like it has to rust from the inside out and not from the outside in.. allot of hog wash in words.. I had that kind of BS on one of my cars. Make sure everything (you may have doubts on) are down in print, what does life time mean exactly? How many years is it protected for? Protected on interior and exterior rust? If there's a limit to the cost..what is the limit? Better to be sure than sorry in 5 years or more.
