Hello everyone!

Just ordered my 2015. Woohoo!

While my plan was to originally a *****'s edition Wrangler to my disbelief Jeep saw it fit to not offer that version anymore for 2015 in Canada, however I was able to order my Sport S with almost the same equipment.

Here is what I ordered:

2015 Wrangler Sport S 6 speed manual 2dr. (23S)
Color: Exterior: Tank Interior: Black
Freedom Hardtop (replacing soft top)
Electrical Group
Connectivity Group
Rubicon 32" tire/Wheel and suspension group.
Limited Slip Diff
3.73 Gearing
Alpine speakers and Sub upgrade

The dealer threw in a few freebies to sweeten the deal and help me "get over" the lack of *****'s model.

Jeep Brand All-weather front floor mats
2x Distressed *****'s hood stickers
1 Nostalgic"4Wheel Drive" tailgate sticker
2x "Oh S**t!" Roll bar Grab Handles
1 Low Mileage Grill to be painted Black Chrome (paint by me)

While it will not be a real *****'s it will be equipped and look like one. Tried to get all the rest of the *****'s bits I was missing but had to draw the line somewhere the salesman was starting to loose his color as I was rambling off the rest of the list.

Total was just under 37k (tax, transport, prep and registration inc) - $2500 cash back from Jeep - $1000 dealer rebate.

Looking forward to seeing my new Jeep but bitter sweet day as it will take 8 to 10 weeks to get it.

Well it will give me the time to think about how to mod it out after I get it.

Nice! Congrats on the new jeep. I didn't realize jeep dropped the ****** in Canada. Are you sure about that? That package looked like a pretty good deal from what I remember. Good call getting the 3.73s. Proper gearing is one of the more important/often overlooked options on a jeep.

 

Thanks, yeah I called a few dealers in the area and the story was the same. Seems the ****** was one year run not enough interest. However the parts still can be ordered individually. Couldn't stretch for a Rubicon so figured I'd get the best I could.

 

I am waiting for my jeep that I ordered in December they said build will b done Feb 4th but they will get it Feb 24 most likely

Thanks, if you ordered a 2dr model it is possible it may take a bit longer. My salesman said the that the new 2015 Renegade will be taking the second assembly line away from the 2dr Wranglers. Don't know if it is true but he said to expect easily 2 to 3 weeks more if you don't happen to fall on the right time to order. Have you been following your VON/VIN status? You should be able to see where it is in production.

 

Congrads on the newbie- We will all be awaiting those pics... Actually a little to many gagets on the new ones so will stick to my 03 tj..

 

Thanks, yeah it is quite decked out, but in order to get one thing you have to get the whole group. So....
I hear ya on simple..... had a '88 YJ soft top 4cyl with no options not even a radio and loved it! Now however, creature comforts do have their place hehe. I will miss the simplicity of "Oops some thing broke on my Jeep." $20 part + adjustable wrench + 10 mins = Fixed.
Now I am not even sure I could find the spark plugs anymore!!!

 

Be sure and post pics when you get her! That's cool they threw in the ****** decals for you since you couldn't get that model anymore.. :-)

 

Yeah really nice owner and he could tell I was going bananas ordering my Jeep. After all my family has bought their last 4 cars there on my referral you start to get in the "their family" a bit.
