Default JKU Soft Top Height

New guy, first question:

Anyone know if installing a Bestop Trektop Pro Hybrid Soft Top increases the height dimension of a Wrangler Unlimited Sport? Critical clearance issues here, so appreciate any insight.

Thanks,

Wide range of opinions:
Soft Top Manufacturer, though not positive, suspected the height would increase,
Jeep Dealer, minimal increase
Parts guy, (and gear head), probably decrease in height

So. . . after installing said top, the verdict is LOWER! but not by much.

The rear bow is maybe the same but the front and middle definitely lower the height.

Not a biggie for most, I know, but with a low clearance garage door this was a bit of a gamble.
Whew!!!

Mines a tj and I know when the soft top is on it is a little lower. Ok so ur a little lower too but remember if you are running 31" tires now and stick a set of 33's or 35's on it your talking a different measurement
