Default Hood Shake....more ?'s

Took Jeff's advice and have been using nylon ties on the latches, and they work great. In my previous thread, no one mentioned the polyurethane replacements for the rubber hold downs. Has anyone used them? I am wondering if they would be hard to fasten at -30 C ?

I run the day star hood latches and have been for the past two years. No issues even in minus 40.

The Daystars are a little tight and some complain that they are tight enough to cause paint to paint contact under the hood. Others say they loosen (soften with age).. I've had the Zip ties on for 4 years and that works for me.

I installed the hood lock from the dealer and that stopped the hood from moving around.
