HI!-New here and need help with hardtop wiring!
 

Hi-- first post for this newb- I just installed the hardtop wire kit for a 2011 without heated mirrors (part#82212859). When adding the new harness wires to the TIPM connectors, the instructions say to remove existing wire from socket and install new wire. What are you supposed to do with the original wire you removed? I left them unconnected after shielding them with electrical tape. Was I supposed to relocate them to an unused socket and if so which socket? The connectors in question were TIPM conctr E--pin 32, conctr G-- pin 31 and dash panel conctr C--pin 18. The reason I ask is now my ABS and Track Control warning lights are now on, making me think these loose wires are at fault. I have not taken it to the dealer to have the ECM flashed yet-- could this be the cause? Thanks--any help is appreciated!
