Flares on the way..

So i was hanging out at the shop for a bit today before i went in for a nightshift.. and ended up getting them to bring in a set of flat fender flares for me.
Went with the Smittybilt XRC steel flare, i got them for just shy of HALF of what Bushwhackers or Xenons would of cost me. I know people are going to rant about "why didnt you just cut your stock flares bla bla ble ble" WELL because incase i smash these to pieces or hate they way they look i can put my stock ones back on.
Anyway heres a few pics of em. Nothing fancy just to the point.

So once i get my bumpers done (bunged up the drill press i was using, on hold for a new a arbor and chuck before i finish) i think it will have a decent look. And incase nobody knows i am going to up grading my axles and going to 37s next near, in the mean time i LOVE the look of the wide opened flares and completely exposed tire, it looks beastly lol

No need to upgrade your axles when running 37's. Just sleev it and gusset it and you'll be fine. Some rcv's in the front and new shafts in the back will also help.

thats exactly what i meant! I wasnt talking switching out to 60s or anything, as sweet as that would be LOL... for the kind of wheeling i do just beefing up the 44s will hold me just fine.

So i picked up the flares yesterday, would of had em on but we had a skeet shooting/target shooting day planned, so they will go on today.
Im actually surprised with the quality of them for the price i paid lol pics after the install.

i might as well throw up a couple pictures of it, it looks ghetto because i hacked my front bumper apart to see if i was going to like the look of a stubby LOL

I ordered a Poison Spyder brawler lite with a trail stinger for the front, still trying to decide on rear bumper/tire carrier.
Super pleased with the fenders for how cheap they were. I need to rig up some sort of removable mud flap especially for the winter because they throw stuff like crazy (which is to expected lol)
And hold the "you need bigger tires" comments lol
