Deal or No Deal
Hi Everyone,
Just looking at 2011Jeep Wrangler Unlimited "LOADED", Chrome, Nav, Leather, heated seats, dual tops, etc...everything I believe I can get this for about $40K all in, admin fees, taxes, everything. Should I go for it? Is this still too high of a price? What would be a good deal in your opinion? |
Re: Deal or No Deal
Sounds like a good price to me.

Thanks Jeff.

Re: Deal or No Deal
Is it new or used (what mileage)? I think the real answer to your question would be can you afford to pay $500 a month for the next 6 plus years? But then I guess you would be asking the question if you couldn't Its a Rubicon?

Re: Deal or No Deal
It is new! Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited, Not the Rubi...Is it worth $40K all incl. taxes, admin fees etc...and it's Loaded!

Re: Deal or No Deal
All in sounds good but being exact is better. List your sheet. I can forward it to my salesman at my Jeep dealership. We have 3 on my street from the same dealer. It might take up to a week to get them low by phone/email, but 1 hour in person after being there. Mississauga dealer near Hurontario (Hwy10) on Dundas St. W.

Re: Deal or No Deal
yeah,I agree with leeside, shop around and don't be afraid to bargain..after all, what's the worst they could say?No? that's ok, no biggie, but if you shop around and get pricing from at least a couple of dealerships for the exact same model with same equipment/accessories,and then you've got bargaining power.
Good Luck on your purchase. On another note-I was at the Jeep dealership in my area(I am definitely NOT in the market to buy)but I just couldn't resist checking out the Black Ops edition Rubi that they had, even took her for a spin..but it's like 38000$ or so....new is nice though...sigh..so many toys,so little money lol. |
Re: Deal or No Deal
Yeah! but they are great toys....! The Black Ops, very nice.
More money for sure, as it's a Rubi. Been shopping around for awhile now, somewhat decided on the either the black staying conservative or the mango tango- ride on the wilder side. both are so nice, love the chrome accents too! Not pimped out and looks sharp! Wasn't all so sure about the two tone interior, but it's not that bad at all. Anyway, hope to be a new jeep soon. |
Re: Deal or No Deal
black is nice.but it's gotta be to your taste.
Post pics when you get it. |
Re: Deal or No Deal
Just to echo leeside and beserkur, I shopped around a great deal. Spent way too much time in 4 different dealerships and got 4 wildly varying prices. Sounds like you've already gone through all of that though, so good luck!

Re: Deal or No Deal
Jades Jeep,
You have some great advice here...I would add the following: -shop around and dont be shy work the price/deal after all its your hard earn money. -everything can be nagotiated, purchase price, trade in, even financing...better yet get your own finance and be 'pre-approved' just dont tell the dealer how much :) -you have the most power in the deal, you can say 'no have a nice day' and walk out. IMO wild side for the color, something that screems look at me I'm a Jeep!!! Mango Tango is awsome, I love it...no disrespect to black...all personal choice. Good luck let us know how you make out then get ready to wave! |
Re: Deal or No Deal
Thanks for all the input., all will not be done until we get the best price possible, of course!
We are looking around and will bargain, no doubt. Just to add to this, Chrysler is giving 3,250 discount right now. On top of this 3,250 disc. is an additional $2- 3 G's possible from the dealer? Or is this unheard of? |
Re: Deal or No Deal
Ya the current discounts are REALLY nice....and Im doing my best to not look too hard, want to see what becomes of the 2012 Wranger with the new Pentastar V6...more horespower and sliglty better on fuel. (plus a 5 speed slush box for those wanting a auto)
Have a look at this site http://www.treadlightly.org/ Tread liightly membership is suposto give you 1% belllow invoice, maybe you can combine the two offers? Pending how hungry the dealer is...end of the month and mid week is usually best time to deal. Keep in mind too the dealer has a 'hold back" meaning the factory pays them a few hundered bucks once the vehical is sold/delivered, regardless of price. SO, payinng their invoice price or less is not un-heard of, and don't listen to their hard luck story about needed to make some money on the sale, thei get their hold back and if they are lucky and good enough they will get your service work...there's the dealers profit! MSRP not! Ask to see the invioce price and work fro there! |
