Default Clutch Personality Advice

Will be adding a second JK to the driveway we the right one comes my way, most likely a 6-speed. Does anyone know if the the clutch in the JKs is hydraulic or not?

I test drove a pre-owned 08 with 50K on it, forgot to look.

Some other standard transmission I've driven seemed effortless in terms of how it felt, and how far your foot goes into the floor. (VW and Honda the best) The JK's clutch felt like is was more work then necessary.

Any of you folks out there sense the same?

Any of you drive your standards as daily drivers? I have 120Kms round trip though lovely Toronto traffic....light to moderate stop and go on sections of the drive.Understand its personal preference, just looking for honest feed back.

Thanks

I just got my 2010 ruby unlimited 6 spd a couple weeks ago.. i personally dont mind the clutch at all..I had a '08 civic si and still have a '03 VW gti both manual and it feels a little stiffer but not by much IMHO.. i already have 1500 kms on it so you can see the clutch hasn't slowed me down much ;-)

It's hydraulic.

I recall how stiff the clutch pedal was when I first got mine. Either I've got familiar with it or my leg has got a LOT stronger as I don't notice it at all anymore.
