Some dealerships now will mod your new jeep for you before you take possession , yes it's gonna cost more I understand that , but if they do the mods for you then it should all be covered under warranty seeing as the dealer has done it , Just info I noticed from a dealer near me hope it helps

Talked to my stealership warranty guy today. He said lift kits and the like will not affect my warranty as long as said mods did not cause the failure of stock parts.

Now it's on to the insurance debacle. .

No issues with warranty stuff. The only time they will not cover (or should not cover) something under warranty is if a mod caused the damage. As for insurance companies you never know what they will do. I have a mustang that is modified. They saw it when I completed the mods and had no issues. A few weeks later my car was damaged and they were going to "cancel my policy for modifying my cars suspension" and showed me the clause in the contract stating that if any suspension modifications are made that voids the contract. I fought with them and won. Now that I have lifted the Jeep, they think it looks cool. If I should ever have an accident I am sure I will have an issue getting coverage....again.

Now, not saying Jeep is the same as Ford, but Ford now voids engine warranties if you modify the exhaust. So simply changing the muffler can void a power train warranty. Go figure.
