Check Engine Light
Greatings,
In the last month or so, after filling up my JK, twice the check engine light has come on. Each time I have checked to ensure the cap is tight, even removed and re-installed. First time light went out with a few stop/re-starts....waitng for it to go out again. Anyone have this issue? My sense is something to do with the fuel system, and the fact it's pressurized, and vapours maybe?? Jeep runs / drives fine otherwise. |
Re: Check Engine Light
Any codes?

Re: Check Engine Light
Agreed, I don't have the tools to grab the codes.
Local Jeep dealer has fixed the problem, O2 sensors X 4 and a logic module. Not fun! |
Re: Check Engine Light
I had the same happen to me, most of the time it's the fuel cap, make sure it is well close and clean the inside O ring with a silicone type of spray, in fact in you go to your instruction manual, refer to engine light and they will tell you about the gaz cap.Good luck
