Carpets in or out?
On another Jeep Forum (mainly US info) I have read a lot of talk about pulling out the carpets and applying a bed liner of some type.
The only issue any of them bring up it extra heat in the summer in the floor from the exshust.
But I wanted to get some Canadian input.
If yo uhave taken out your carpets how is it in the winter? I assume its nicer and easier to clean out any snow / mud / salt... but is there much difference in temp or noise leavels??
thanks

Keep the carpets in if you use line x product to coat the floor it will had weight to the jeep something u dont need.I bought a set of weather tech floor mats there great easy clean up hope this helps.
I have sprayed the tub in my tj. But not my JK. Yet . It did make things way quieter and better for clean up after bogging and such?
It helped with keeping the jeep warmer in the winter. I always have a soft top on in the summer so did not notice the temp change .
I am going to spray my JK this spring .

The main advantage for spraying the tub is that you can simply use a garden hose to clean it out after mudding. I have left the carpet in mine, the drain plugs do a great job of removing excess water. I would only spray mine if the carpets degrade to the point of requiring replacement. I am intrigued though by the liner Matti provided the link for. Anyone using that?
