Hi new to the Forum.
Returning a White Jeep Patriot.
Have decided on a Wrangler Unlimited, fully loaded.
Will be used mostly by my 22 year old daughter.
She wants White...my wife and I are sticking to Classic Black.
Any thoughts?
Is white the new black?

I find color to be a totally personal preference. My self im not a fan of white. They look nice and I have owned a white care in the past but white is just not for me

 

I'm deciding between the two as well... leaning towards white.

 

I'm leaning towards white too...it's just that White and Jeep are not synonymous...don't want to do it injustice.

 

Agreed, color is so personal choice....I like my Jeep in a screaming color...that says look at me I'm a Jeep. Ours is Rescue Green, second one will be Detonator Yellow.

We had a black car once, bi**&& ch to keep clean.

I vote white.

I saw a white Rubi on the way home, with the black top, black fenders....awsome contrast....it just looked really clean and sharp.

Good luck, either way you end up with a Jeep (Wrangler)....don't forget you need to wave to all the Wranglers :) (Something you didn't do in a Patriot) :)

 

Nope white is not the new Black. Black is Jeep Chrome..

Its all you dude what ever makes you happy. We prefer Blacks and Jeep Green on our Jeeps.

 

Black is sharper IMHO.
However mud shows up nicely on both black or white.

 

My xj was white and on Search&Rescue exercises it was used a couple of times in winter as the victim and did a good job of hiding it in the woods - thats said Red or Dark Blue or Black is a better color but to each his/her own.The color don't make it run any better.

 

I'd go black, white hides the dirt... ;)

Actually, my colour preferences were tan, then green, then black. Black was what was there when I bought, so black it was. In the end, I don't really care, it's a Jeep and that means fun.
