Big day tomorrow - Pick up our 2012 Unlimited
 

I can't believe how excited we are, my wife and I pick up our new Wrangler Unlimited Sahara tomorrow. This was a factory order placed October 1st, but to be honest we have been planning this since spring's autoshow, then purposed delayed everything waiting for the new 3.6 and 5spd auto. I am sure it will be worth the wait, and the timing is perfect, just before my wife's birthday. Will post pictures likely later in the weekend, as we will definitely have the camera with us tomorrow.
Keep your eyes out for a Dozer with matching Freedom top around Downtown Toronto tomorrow:smile:

I'm just awaiting credit approval for a 2012 Wrangler Sahara Unlimited as well.
Supposed to get back to me today , so I can pick it up on Monday....... excitement is an understatement.
I couldn't get the colors I wanted ( green or black ) until January or February.
Decided I can live with silver......

Looking forward to seeing some pictures!

Thanks everyone, finally, the six week wait is over, and we couldn't be happier. Toronto weather couldn't have been better for mid November, and we got to cruise around downtown, snapping pictures. Also recieved our 1st compliments from another Wrangler unlimited couple we met at the LCBO. We did take about 50 pictures, obviously, not going to throw them all up, but here are a couple.
2012 JK Unlimited Sahara, heated seats, 3.73 gears, auto climate, automatic, dual top, colour matched Freedom top, and remote starter.

Hey quick question if you don't mind.. You ordered and got it in 6 weeks. I was checking at the dealer last month and they told me 12 weeks for custom order.. Is there a reason why yours only took 6 weeks?

a lot quicker then having to build one to order...

was just wondering also...how you got it in 6 weeks...I ordered mine in the first week of October and was told it would be at LEAST Christmas before I got it...

Is your's taken from the Ontario dealer's 'pool'...and was already built?

When I ordered it from Toronto Chrysler, they indicated it would be 4-12 weeks, and the sales manager thought it would be sometime in November. It definitely was a factory order, as I have a friend that works there, who checked the vehicle over when it arrived, and saw the build sheet. Six weeks was not too stressful, went quickly, obviously we were estatic when it arrived.

I imagine the timing comes down to what colour they are currently doing in the production line, so luck and timing are your only friends.

Good luck with your wait, and perhaps they told you 12 weeks to make themselves look good when you get it sooner.

Noice! I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2012 JWSU in White.
Dealer told me just last week that it's a 6-8 week wait for custom build.

That DOZER colour with the matching painted hardtop looks FANTASTIC!

I have a black Sahara with the painted top - on the way...wondering now if I should have done the unthinkable, and ordered the 'DOZER' colour, too!!! Your bravery has been rewarded!! :appl::appl:

Hope to see you around TO...there can't be too many of that colour...especially with the painted top...wow!

Oh, by the way, I ordered mine - first week of October...dealer says it's in D1...shipping estimated in 2 weeks...but, hey...the factory CLOSES for Christmas...so...(sigh)...:eyes:

I have to give my wife full credit on the Dozer order, we both really like the 2011 Detonator yellow, but we had only seen Dozer once at night. I was trying to go with White, but she really wanted the Yellow (Happy wife....happy life), I honestly don't think there is a bad colour for Jeeps, I've seen a red sahara with matching top, and even like that.

You guys will be estatic when you get yours, on Saturday running errands, gave and received 4 jeep waves in about 20 minutes:thumbsup:

It is a great color. I was pissed all my dealers ordered only black and white. My new out out town dealer ordered a Crush and Deep Cherry just before I ordered my Dozer.

Anyone in Manitoba looking for a cool color head out to Selkirk that's where the Crush JKUS is. Talk to Rewy. :biggrin:

I'am still waiting for my jku sahara dozer, order went in on the 26 sept still waiting, went to D status on nov 02.
its starting to worry me that the jeep has not arrived yet. cheers pyeman

Just read online last night that the demand is so high right now for Wranglers (and liberty) that both those factories are not closing for the holidays. Hopefully they get the backorders to those patiently waiting here.

Also saw that demand for the pickup kit has exceeded their expectations as well.

Hi Just wondering if your jeep is a 6 speed, as I can not understand how you jeep was build before mine??? Also asked for saddle tan leather interior. hat did you order, As maybe there is ahold up for materials. but at this point jeep will not tell me anything.

No ours is an Automatic, primarily since it's my wife's daily driver. And we went with the stock black cloth material. Figured leather in the summer, particularily if the roof was down would be too painful.

I just found out today My jku dozer will not be build until mid january, This of course is a big let down as we ordered 26 sept 2011, So we could have it by christmas, I will be looking on all the dealer site to see if I can find a fulled loaded six speed. Customer service at chrysler sucks :confused:

Congrats Josuave, that is awesome, I love the full white look. Everytime I tell show my wife a modded jeep or wheeling jeeps from the forums, she tells me to get my own, and a white one.
