Hello Jeepminded,
Thank you for the information and the encouragement :-) If all goes well for me financially, I should have it before the end of May :-))) |
Re: about to buy 2010 Wrangler - my first Jeep
Hello everyone,
From what I have read elsewhere and seen here...I am going to aim for a Jeep Wrangler 2 door (no kids), manual tranny..3.73 axle ratio, at least the freedom top, air conditioning, cruise, mag wheels for 17 inch tires...and ...lol...white..cause my Lady friend says it is hot in Indiana. How does that sound for a city dweller..who will do some tent camping..some easy off road trails, no towing, and just wants to enjoy his first Jeep? |

Re: about to buy 2010 Wrangler - my first Jeep
I'll make this short and SWEET.
If you're worried about rolling back on a hill with the manual transmission...Don't be worried. I believe all jk jeeps, even the automatics have a hill hold feature. If you are stopped on a steep grade(or a not so steep grade)the brakes will hold you in that position after you take your foot off the pedal for a time until you start releasing the clutch to give you the chance to get rolling again, you now don't have to worry about rolling into the car behind you on a hill.Gotta love electronics! Hope this helps. Dean |
