Just wondering if anyone has had any rattle issues with their Jeep? I have a rattle on the drivers side between the door and the taillight! I have tightened everything I can see. It sounds like something has come loose.
Wondering if there is anything behind the space between the inner panel and outer metal that could come loose. Can't even see how the inner plastic panel is attached. Still under warranty and thinking of just letting the dealer sort it out.
Anyone else have a rattle issue they couldn't find?

 

Could it be the tail gate? You can tighten that to check. The v shaped part on the body of the jeep wedges the door hardware more tightly if it is moved out towards the door. Just mark the current location before you loosen the bolts so you can put it back to orig if need be. Easy fix to try.

 

No probs here with any of our Jeeps.. I suggest taking it back to the dealer and let them fix it..

 

I will have a look at the tailgate.
If I don't see a fix, I think I will just let the dealer handle it.

Might be a stretch but if you just changed from the hard top to the soft top, has one of the hard top's
threaded anchors come loose and rattling in the channel?

 

True. That happened to me and had a rough time pulling it out!

 

Got it fixed today. Tailgate striker was loose.
Drove me nuts!!

 

Good for a quiet ride again :) lol

 

I had the EXACT same issue....super annoying!
