So I got my notice to go in and change skid plate for a bar.... I am not sure I want the bar over the plate... I get the fire issue... But a bar seems like less protection then a plate would offer.

Thoughts????

 

Your rite I want to keep the plate as well, all my skids are bashed or scraped.
Including that one, I’ve wheeled with a friend that had the bar and it worked
And like the wife said when I told her I wasn’t going in to have it removed if
There was a fire they would try to blame that first off and the insurance may not
Be so great to deal with after all the mods, wheeling and not looking after a
Safety recall
