Can anyone confirm for me that the 17 x 7.5 (5 spoke aluminum) rim that is standard on many sports (2007 +) the same as the Rubicon rim? Dealership says Rubicon is 17 x7.5 -2007 and newer, but I'm wonering if Rubicon rim was same size but maybe had different backspacing. Any help/clarification would be great. I have 18" on Sahara but am looking to switch to 17" so I can install MT's without any problems. Thanks.

 

i can confirm that for you. i have both sets, stock 17"x7.5 that came on my unlimited X and a set of 17" x7.5 rubi take-offs and both sets are exactly the same except for the finish, the stock ones are a painted grey and the rubi take-offs are brushed aluminum.
